Smudging with Palo Santo sticks, known as Holy Wood by the South American Shamans is easy to use and creates a felling of balance and harmony. But how do I, as a Clairvoyant, use it?
I first became aware of Palo Santo during an energy healing training course with a modern day Shaman here in Sydney, Australia and found it lifts away old stale energy efficiently.
Very sensitive to energy, I could actually feel trapped energy lifting away from me leaving a sense of well-being. I use it in the wood/stick form, as well as Palo Santo Sprays and oil, when I feel a little flat or when I feel the need to raise the energy in my home or Reading Room.
When do I use it?
As a Clairvoyant, I use Palo Santo in stick or spray form:
How do I use it?
I start by sitting in a chair and calling in my Angels, Spirit Guides and the Arch Angels. I say that my intention is to clear negative, stale, outdated energy to make way for positive, uplifting energy throughout all that I am.
I light the Palo Santo from a tealight candle on a heat proof dish and once the flame is obvious, I then blow it out which produces the smoke needed for smudging. Repeat as necessary.
I begin with the undersoles of my feet making my way up the front of my body, standing when appropriate. Holding onto the back of the chair for safety, I then reach around swirling the smoke around my back including lower legs, torso, shoulders and head. I do this for as long as I feel it is necessary.
Note: When using Palo Santo to smudge myself, I generally like to wash my hair afterwards if I'm going out, otherwise I leave it.
Within the home:
When using the Palo Santo sticks, I open all doors and windows creating a nice flow of air.
I call in my Angels, Spirit Guides and the Arch Angels. I say that my intention is to clear negative, stale, outdated energy to make way for positive, uplifting energy throughout all that I am, including my home.
I light the Palo Santo from a tealight candle on a heat proof dish and once the flame is obvious, I then blow it out which produces the smoke needed for smudging. Repeat as necessary while moving through your room or home.
Ensure the Palo Santo stick is completely out by placing in sand. Do not leave unattended.
Note: My husband prefers the scent of Palo Santo in our home, rather than Sage.
Palo Santo Clearing Sprays
As previously mentioned, I also use Palo Santo Clearing Sprays which are particularly useful for me as a Clairvoyant, when working away from my own Reading Room. Also useful if you are in a space where you can't use smoke.
To use, spray liberally around yourself and the space, room or rooms you feel need uplifting.
